Santa Always Arrives In Belmont In Style On The First Tuesday Of December

Phones in the Chamber office start ringing in July with questions about the Belmont Christmas Parade. The parade always takes place on the first Tuesday of December.

The Chamber coordinates the parade for the city, and more than 120 units have participated each of the past three years. In 2013, Belmont will celebrate its 64th Annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 3, 2013, at 4 p.m. Plan now to be involved. Here's how:

1. Promote your business or organization by renting a professionally decorated float
2. Sponsor a marching band or other performing group
3. Enter your own decorated vehicle or walking group in the parade.
4. Just come out early, find a great viewing spot and enjoy the pageantry.

The hottest ticket in town in January is to the Chamber’s Annual Banquet, Meeting And Silent Auction. And the ticket was hotter than ever in 2013, with more than 230 attending.  

The evening featured recognitions for outstanding community servents, businesses and entrepreneurs, a fantastic meal, two networking receptions and a silent auction offering lots of fun and great bargains.

A committee led by Chamber Board Chair-elect Brad Thomas of Creative Solutions Special Events already is hard at work on plans for the next banquet. Watch the Chamber website this fall for banquet announcements including business sponsorship opportunities and ticket information.
