The Montcross Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the position of Director of Operations. The successful applicant will report to President Jennifer Reep and assist in leading our 64 year old, non-profit organization in service to member businesses, organizations and communities.

Office administrative support experience required as well as excellent organizational and communications skills. Non-profit experience is a plus. Strong computer skills are required, and experience with QuickBooks and member management software are preferred.

Additional qualifications for the position are:


  • Passion for helping businesses, organizations and communities succeed.
  • Strong people, communication and social media skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term plans.
  • Experience developing and adhering to budgets.
  • Ability to recruit and retain volunteers.
  • Provide meeting support as needed (scheduling conference rooms, coordinating food, logistics, staffing for registration).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in fundraising and event planning.
  • Assist in updating the website and other social media platforms.
  • Familiarity in processing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
