The Montcross Tomorrow Chamber Foundation (Foundation)is a 501©3, North Carolina Public Charity as defined by the IRS.
The Foundation is governed by a board of directors as prescribed in its bylaws for the terms specified.The current board consists of: Gordon Quarles, Chairman; Michael McCathern, Chair-Elect; Malissa Gordon, Treasurer; MarcJordan, Executive Director; Paige Kilburn; Delta Sanders; Julie Roper, and Heath Jenkins
Mission & Purpose
The Mission/Purpose of the Foundation is to engage in charitable and educational efforts, and specifically to support economic growth and community development in and around Gaston County, North Carolina (the development area ), thereby lessening the burdens of local government and state government in their efforts to promote the public purposes of creating jobs, increasing the tax base and improving the quality of life in the development area.
Focus Areas
- Support and promote Small Businesses through the Montcross Emerge Initiative.
- Educate and facilitate the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) in growing businesses and creating jobs.
- Educate and Promote a Healthy Balanced Lifestyle, “Healthy Business-Healthy People”.
- Create jobs through the attraction of Remote Workers.
